Mount Zero
Origin: VIC
Planted in 1953, the Mount Zero Olive Grove is one of the oldest olive groves in Australia, with a total of 6000 Spanish Manzanilla and Gordal olive trees.
The Mount Zero Olive Grove is located adjacent to the Grampians National Park, in Western Victoria. The olive grove is a Demeter certified, biodynamic farm. The grove is self sustaining in its farming practices -feeding the trees directly form the soil humus rather than chemical inputs - and energy supply – sourced from off-grid wind and solar generators.
Due to its location, bridging the Wimmera and Grampians regions, the grove is surrounded by fantastic produce - ranging from broad acre pulse and grain farms to small organic market gardens. Mount Zero Olives is delighted to be able to supplement its range with some of the finest produce from these farms and gardens.
All of Mount Zero's olives are hand picked and preserved naturally in brine (salt & water).
