channon_chardonay RESERVE CHARDONNAY 2004
JAMES HALLIDAY 91 POINTS HUON HOOKE 92 POINTS

It is made from the same 2 acre block of chardonnay as the famous 2002 vintage which shook the wine judging world by winning the Trophy for the Best Chardonnay in the Show at the 2004 Royal Brisbane Show. The wine was barrel fermented in French oak. It is a rich full-bodied chardonnay with a bouquet of tropical fruits and melons, a palate with peachy, buttery flavours, nutty oak and a a long finish. It will continue to improve in the bottle for 2 to 3 years.

Robert’s very popular blend of Chardonnay and Verdelho. Fresh citrus and peach aromas lead into a medium bodied wine and medium sweet palate but still fresh, balanced with good acidity and fruit. A favourite wine for summer lunches.

JUST RELEASED
Chardonnay 2006

This is a fresh and crisp, fruit driven chardonnay with subtle oak characteristics. It is very much in the style of the 2004 Chardonnay which received a Gold Medal at the Royal Brisbane Wine Show. We are expecting this wine to prove very popular this summer.
